Topstick SC‑020: Non Flammable Industrial Adhesive for Cold Splicing & Repairs

Topstick SC‑020 is a non flammable industrial adhesive formulated for safe, strong bonding in hazardous or enclosed environments. This two-component system is ideal for cold splicing and repairs where fire risk must be avoided—especially in underground mining and heavy industry.

The adhesive delivers high-performance bonds between rubber, metal, and fabric without compromising safety.

Why Choose a Non Flammable Industrial Adhesive?

Working in confined or high-risk environments demands safe solutions. A non flammable industrial adhesive helps reduce workplace hazards while ensuring strong, lasting bonds.

Topstick SC‑020 offers:

Non-flammable formulation – safe for underground or poorly ventilated areas

Strong bonding to rubber, fabric, and metal

Two-component reliability for consistent curing

Excellent choice for belt splicing and tank lining repairs, highly regarded in the market

Exceptional strength adhesive

Furthermore, it’s free from chlorinated solvents and VOC-heavy components, making it a safer alternative to traditional contact adhesives.

Applications of Topstick SC‑020

Topstick SC‑020 is trusted across a wide range of industries:

Cold splicing of rubber conveyor belts

Rubber lining of tanks, pipes, and chutes

Underground mining maintenance

Rubber-to-metal bonding in hazardous zones

In addition, it is frequently used in facilities where open flames or flammable vapors are a concern.

How to Use SC‑020 Effectively

To ensure optimal performance and safety:

Surface Preparation

Clean and abrade surfaces thoroughly. For metals, apply Topprime primer.

Mixing

Combine resin and hardener according to the specified ratio. Mix well until uniform.

Application

Apply to both surfaces. Allow solvent to flash off. Join parts under firm pressure.

Curing

Curing time varies depending on temperature and application. Full bond strength develops over time.

Tip: Refer to the MSDS and technical sheet for precise instructions.

Important

Topstick SC-020 is a non-flammable product and therefore can be used above and below ground for conveyor belt splicing and repairs, as well as for all other rubber and rubber to metal applications.
